💡 The Golden Rules

• Declutter Everything: If it does not add design value to the room, hide it in a closet or the garage.
• Hide the Pets: Keep pets and their belongings (food bowls, crates, toys) completely out of sight.
• Clean: Vacuum, sweep, mop, clean windows, wipe down counter tops and appliances, clean sinks, etc.

🏡 Exterior & Curb Appeal

• Move all vehicles from the driveway and from the front of the house.
• Close garage doors completely.
• Hide trash cans, recycling bins, and garden hoses inside the garage or behind side fencing.
• Clear the yard of toys, tools, and pet waste.
• Uncover patio furniture.

🛋️ Living Areas

• Turn off TVs and hide all remote controls in a drawer.
• Hide all visible cords, power strips, and device chargers.
• Clear clutter from coffee tables, side tables, and bookshelves.

🍳 Kitchen & Dining

• Clear all countertops completely (hide blenders, air fryers)
• Remove all magnets, photos, and papers from the refrigerator.
• Hide trash cans, sponges, and dish soap in cabinets.
• Set the dining table with clean place settings or leave it completely clear.

🛏️ Bedrooms

• Make all beds neatly with tucked sheets and wrinkle-free comforters.
• Store all clothing, shoes, and laundry baskets out of sight inside closets.
• Clear all items from nightstands except for accent lamps, books.
• Clear under-bed spaces if they are visible.

🛀 Bathrooms

• Clear countertops completely (hide toothbrushes, soap dispensers, and makeup).
• Put toilet seats and lids down.
• Remove all shampoo bottles, soaps, and loofahs from showers and tubs.
• Hang fresh, clean towels neatly, or remove them entirely.
• Hide bath mats and trash cans.

🚪 Foyers & Entryways

• Clear the entryway of all personal shoes, coats, umbrellas, and bags.
• Hide keys, mail, and wallets from entry tables or consoles.
• Ensure the front doormat is clean, straight, and free of debris.
• Clean any glass panes on the front door to prevent streaks or glare in the shot.

🧺 Laundry Rooms

• Remove all visible clothes.
• Close both appliance doors completely.
• Hide all laundry detergents, fabric softeners, spray bottles.
• Clear away any lint piles, clothes hangers, and dirty laundry baskets.

🚗 Garages & Storage Areas

• Remove all vehicles, if possible, from the garage completely to showcase the full floor layout.
• Sweep the garage floor to clear out leaves, dust.
• Stack boxes, tools, and bins neatly against the wall or hide them in designated storage cabinets.
• Close all built-in cabinet doors and tool chests completely.
